Collaborating

Coaching objective:

Chris is a very bright and hard working manager. He  wants to create visibility on his career path, especially as his company believes that his behaviour is a limiting factor to any promotion or more challenging jobs. Chris has very high work standards and finds it difficult to get work done through and with others, to appreciate others' contribution and engage them in his thought process. Chris can hear and accept the recurrent feedback; However, he has not managed to change his behaviour until now.

Coaching process:

The process starts with classic 2-hour coaching sessions until I suggest an Intensive . The Intensive can enable the profound transformation Chris has realised he truly wants and he is now ready to go through.

In the morning of the Intensive, we get to the root cause and identify the limiting decision that is causing him difficulty to collaborate.

In the afternoon, we go through a number of interventions that help connect  the unconscious  and the conscious minds, releasing old limiting beliefs.

By the end of the day, he has a plan to practice his newly chosen behaviours based on empowering beliefs.

We follow up with 2-hours sessions to embed the change and make required adjustments, as well as to support him getting the job he wants.

Coaching impact:

After the session, Chris can experience a change that amplifies and settles with time.

What surprised him most is that the change comes from the inside and does not have to be controlled. He is more relaxed, has more appreciation and connection with others. He does not feel the need to control everything anymore.

Soon he starts receiving positive feedback from his colleagues about the change. People want to work with him, not only because he is very good at what he does but also because of the effective collaboration.

After a few months, his company is wholeheartedly offering him a promotion.

Why the intensive worked with Chris?

Chris has done a lot of personal development throughout his career but has hit a wall. He is ready to do whatever is necessary to break down this wall, strongly motivated to get a new job where he can grow again and unleash his potential.

Chris' perspective:

"Two years after the Intensive, what we worked through with Nathalie still holds. I have become much more aware of behaviours that used to be unconscious. As a result,  I have not only achieved changes to my intuitive behaviour but also to my conscious behaviour. It's easier for me to explain myself to others and I am more open to do so"
