core belief

I was a successful leader in an international food company. I thought I was doing fine but I burned out because, throughout my career, I had neglected most of the uncomfortable feelings I was experiencing. I was too focused on being successful and following my passion. And when it had become critical for me to listen to my emotions and maybe avoid the burnout, I was not able to do it.  I just wanted to push them back. To recover I had to accept my vulnerability.I realised that  emotions are invaluable information that I simply didn’t know how to decode and use to my advantage… In the following 10 years, I learnt to work with emotions. My biggest finding? There is only one key to unravel the full potential of emotions and shine: Embrace them! It is certainly uncomfortable, but the gifts are numerous: More confidence and charisma, more resilience, more energy and deeper connection with oneself and others. There are multiple paths to make emotions your best friend, depending on where we start from. I’ve walked them, and I’ll guide you there.

 

coaching style

My greatest satisfaction is seeing my clients achieve their goals. Embracing  emotions is hard because it makes us vulnerable. Hence I create a space of benevolence and intentionality where my clients can develop their self-awareness and safely experiment with new strategies, which lead them to the change they desire in their life. I support this process with my knowledge and experience of master practitioner in NLP, Gestalt and Psychology of personal transformation, and with the latest findings in neuroscience and embodiment  techniques.

And yes, I am a big big fan of feedback: Caring, provocative, enthusiastic, challenging, always intentional! Feedback is the alpha and omega of personal and team growth.

 

work experience

  • I started a leadership coaching practice in 2011. Before that, I graduated as a food scientist and have 20 years experience as an innovation leader.
  • As an innovator, I am wired to pioneer, explore, create, stretch the edge of the comfort zone, foster collaboration and deliver new opportunities for the business and people.
  • As a leader, I ground my leadership in my values (connection, meaning, achievement and learning), strengths (insight, curiosity, transformation, flexibility) and the understanding and integration of human paradoxes.
  • As a scientist, I like to base my work on facts and science.
 

More about Nathalie

I am French. I've lived abroad for the major part of my life - mainly in the Netherlands and in the UK - and work across Europe. That has fostered my passion for cross cultural understanding. As a kid, I wanted to become Indiana Jones and travel the world (which is still an ongoing passion) to explore and meet all sorts of people. I like to do yoga, walk and hike as active meditative practices. As a coach, I also journey inside the human soul. And maybe just as a legacy from my French culture, I like to cook and drink good wines.
